All of the pictures of me when I'm smiling the biggest tend to be the ones where I'm covered in glitter, dirt, or both, and wearing a helmet!
I was fortunate enough to grow up in the mountains of Montana and Idaho where I quickly found my love for skiing, mountain biking, and climbing. I moved to Bellingham, WA to attend Western Washington University in the fall of 2021. I'm currently pursuing a double major in French and Environmental Studies, with an emphasis in Geographic Information Systems. Additionally, I'm in the GIS certificate program, and plan to graduate winter 2025.Â
When I took my first GIS class, I immediately knew it was going to be my next passion. GIS challenges me like no other academic subject has, and I've turned into a complete mapping nerd! I'm also interested in outdoor education and have worked at multiple organizations as a climbing camp instructor. After college, I'd like to pursue guiding certifications through the American Mountain Guides Association. In the future, I hope to eventually combine my passion of climbing and outdoor recreation with my GIS skills, potentially working with the National Parks Service or other organization related to conservation.
