Receipient of the 2024 Monahan Memorial Scholarship

• This scholarship through WWU is awarded to undergraduate students majoring in geography, environmental studies, or related studies who have strong potential for contributions and leadership in the field of geography. 

Award Winner at WWU's Scholar's Week 2024

• Scholar's Week is Western's "annual, week-long celebration of outstanding student research and creative works." Students must be sponsored or nominated by a faculty advisor, and then present their work in a poster session, where viewers can vote for work they feel is particularly interesting or impactful. Our work, which involved creating a climate suitability model to predict the future range of the Nootka Cypress, won an award.
