Skills learned in GIS IV: Advances GIS Applications include using R coding software for data management, manipulating, cleaning, and visualizing georeferenced data, digitizing historical documents and imagery, image analysis and landcover classification for Landsat 8 satellite data, data collection in the field using custom-built apps, development of technical report writing, and advanced group work.
